In the paper, some problems in measuring of location deviations by coordinate measuring machine in production are presented. Special attention is given to the question tolerancing and measuring of coaxial deviations. Different methods of a choice of coordinate system, reference surfaces and measuring strategy are considered. Influence of various factors on the accuracy of the measurement of the coaxial deviation is analysed.
