  <abstract>A theoretical model of bubble boiling during the flow of refrigeration media in a tubular channel has been presented. The model enables determination of the heat transfer coefficient and flow resistance. An essential feature of the model is that it accounts for components of the heat flux density in the boundary sublayer due to convection, interaction of heat sinks and turbulence effects. The presented model is considered to possess a general meaning; computational results have been experimentally validated for five refrigeration media: R134a, R404A, R507, R123, R12, R21 and R22.</abstract>
