The influence of the thermostatic expansion valve on the magnitude of disturbances and their propagation velocity in the coil tube is determined. The effect of the degree of refrigerant vapour superheat on the above parameters is also established. Investigation are conducted using an environmentally-friendly refrigerant R404A.
