N2  - In the paper a simple iterative algorithm is given for the problem of inner-outer direct factorization of the real polynomial matrix which is non-negative definite on the unit circle. It is shown that each iteration requires solving some set of linear equations. Good convergence properties of the algorithm are stated for some simple starting polynomial matrix
