The problem of practical realisation of the simulation laboratory works within base disciplines at the technical university is discussed. The question is considered in a wide context, including features of physics computerisation as an educational discipline, basic directions of educational process computerisation related to physics, the necessity of physics studies for computer-science students, practical work modelling, a virtual physics laboratory, a computer physical experiment as well as such adjacent questions, as the electronic tutorial in physics and computer testing of knowledge in the field of physics.
