The analogy uses a series of transversely and longitudinally vibrating continuous segments. The segments are arranged in a rotationally periodic pattern, with coupling between each other accomplished by suspension elements. Analytical expressions for the system eigenfrequencies and eigenfunctions are found. Results in the case of free vibrations of a perfect periodic system are presented. iW :tZeszyty Naukowe Politechniki Warszawskiej : Machine dynamics problems. -g1998, vol. 20, s. 167-179 aPolish-German Workshop on Dynamical Problems in Mechanical Systemsn(5 ;d1997 ;cZakopane, Polska).
