The paper presents a genetic algorithm applied to generate new rules for an expert system. The knowledge representation language adapted to genetic expert system is given. The genetic algorithm as the block diagram is given, and the heuristic fitness function as a Matlab m-file is presented and discussed. The genetic algorithm simulation results for radar set transmitter are presented.
