| 520 | _aThe applied model of subcooled boiling in channel flow draws on relationships that describe heat transfer in frow of a two-phase mixture. It is assumed that the total heat flux supplied to the channel is partly used for the development of a new vapour phase and party for heating up the subccooled liquid to the saturation temperature. The semi-empirical model allows us to determine the void fraction during subcooled boiling in channel flow. Using the model one can study the distribution of some quantities as a function of axial co-ordinate z of the channel. | ||
