520 _aThe presented paper indicates the numerous analogies between biobearing and microbearing hydrodynamic lubrication processes.The cooperating microbearing and biobearing surfaces are working in electro-magnetic field. We consider magnetic micro-bearing and bio-bearings lubricated by the ferrolubricant with magnetic properties. Therefore during the exploitation period we can control operating information and we can select such information inside the thin micro-bearing or bio-bearing gap so as to obtain proper carrying capacities and very small friction forces, as well as wear values. Additionally, the asymmetric and symmetric nano- grooves on the micro-or bio-bearing surface are applied. A whirling lubricant flow caused by the grooves lying either on the cooperating micro-brakes or bio-bearing surfaces, consolidates the intelligent features. The author indicates the similarity between the intelligent micro-bearing properties and the intelligent behaviour of human bio-bearings. An intensive development of scientific research in the field of friction phenomena for micro pair, micro joints and especially the hydrodynamic theory of lubrication of slide or rolling micro-bearing systems, and even nano-bearings in electro-magnetic (EM) fields, has recently been observed outside the EU in the past seven years. Namely, it is represented by the research teams in China, Japan, South Korea, and South Vietnam. The author confirms this statement by the newest scientific literature from the last seven years. The author’s knowledge development mentioned above is caused by the numerous application of biobearing lubrication processes in microbearing constructions, and by the new constructions of friction pairs occurring in micro-and Nano-motors, micro-robots, micro surgery devices, computer hard disc drivers, where the control possibility of friction and wear during the exploitation is very necessary. Most of the impairments of micro-mechanisms, micro-motors, and computer HDD are caused by the slide micro-bearing damages regarding the disturbances of the hydrodynamic process which appear frequently in the abovementioned slide micro-bearing rather than in other roller micro-bearings.
